Places of Ancient Greece
A picture on the bottom is the Parthenon, which was dedicated to Athena. It is located on an acropolis, which means high city. Another place is an amphitheater, which is where people would go to watch plays, which were either tragedies, or comedies. There was also an agora, which is where people would go to sell things and talk. Another place was the gymnasia, which is where they would fine tune their bodies so they could defend their city-state in the games. Mount. Olympus was said to be where the gods lived, except for Hades and Poseidon. Another place is Delphi, which is where people would go to speak to Apollo about the future. Oracles would tell the people what Apollo had said. River Styx is the place were the souls would travel to be judged after they had died. If you were good, you would go to the Elysian Fields with everlasting happiness. If you were bad, you would go to Tartarus, with endless punishments. If you were neither good, nor bad, you would wander forever on the Plain of Asphodel.
